Smart Water Network

A new innovative Smart Rainwater Tank program

LEARN MORE

In Melbourne, the Monbulk Creek Smart Network program (Tanks for Platypus) is a large component of Platy Patch.

It involves installation of ‘smart’ rainwater tanks on private and public property to help manage the impacts of stormwater on Monbulk Creek, and to provide environmental water for Platypus and other threatened species.

This is a substantial partnership between Melbourne Water, the University of Melbourne, Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (DEECA), South East Water and Yarra Ranges Council.
